Healthy Salted Caramel Protein Balls with Zesty Lemon.
These protein balls are absolutely delicious! They are so quick and easy and make a great snack when you are on the go.
They do contain mejool dates so they are best to enjoy pre work out.
Ingredients:
200g pitted medjool dates
2/3 65g rolled oats
1/3 cup 35g desiccated coconut
Good pinch of salt
1/4 Zest of a lemon
Method
Add all the ingredients into a bender until the mixture comes together and looks like crumbs.
Take a fine grater and grate 1/4 of the lemon zest - add more if you’d like a more lemony taste.
Take large teaspoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls, make them as big or little as you like!
Roll the balls into the desiccated coconut
Put in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
