Healthy Salted Caramel Protein Balls with Zesty Lemon.

These protein balls are absolutely delicious! They are so quick and easy and make a great snack when you are on the go.

They do contain mejool dates so they are best to enjoy pre work out.

Ingredients:

200g pitted medjool dates

2/3 65g rolled oats

1/3 cup 35g desiccated coconut

Good pinch of salt

1/4 Zest of a lemon

Method

  • Add all the ingredients into a bender until the mixture comes together and looks like crumbs.

  • Take a fine grater and grate 1/4 of the lemon zest - add more if you’d like a more lemony taste.

  • Take large teaspoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls, make them as big or little as you like!

  • Roll the balls into the desiccated coconut

  • Put in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
